A great social media tool is Twitter. Twitter makes it easy for people to see what's going on in the world with friends, celebrities, etc. I love it. I'm always interested by what other people are doing, and I always find out so much information through Twitter.
Twitter is also an excellent way to spread word about your blog. With my Twitter for my blog, I post a link of each blog post every day so my followers can easily click on the link and read my blog posts.
